Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx)
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course (often known as the Nitrox course) allows you to dive with Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx)—a blend of nitrogen and oxygen that gives you more time underwater at certain depths by reducing nitrogen intake. Imagine exploring longer, diving deeper, and feeling fresher after each dive. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is perfect for divers who want to extend their underwater adventures safely and maximize their time on marine exploration.
Why Get Nitrox Certified?
Diving with enriched air has a range of benefits, especially if you love multi-dive trips, underwater photography, or simply want to reduce fatigue, simply said, you can enjoy the below benefits from Nitrox:
Longer Bottom Times: With enriched air, you can stay down longer at certain depths, giving you extra time to explore and observe underwater life.
Less Surface Interval Time: Enriched air reduces the nitrogen in your system, allowing for shorter surface intervals and quicker recovery between dives.
Enhanced Dive Safety: By understanding enriched air safety procedures, you’ll feel more confident about your dive planning and oxygen management.
Dive More Comfortably: Many divers report feeling less fatigue after enriched air dives, especially on multiple-dive days.
Once you have completed the course, you will earn an Enriched Air Diver certification the allowing you to dive with enriched air (Nitrox) at dive centers worldwide.
